Students will travel by bus to Whitwell, TN with students from West End Synagogue and Congregation Micah to visit the Paper Clips Holocaust Memorial and Exhibits.
This extraordinary place in rural Tennessee is a testament to the importance of remembering the lessons of the Holocaust for all people.
We will travel by bus, eat lunch and then tour the exhibits and see the over 6 million paper clips collected by 8th graders. Linda Hooper, the former principal of the middle school when the project was initiated, will guide us there.
This trip is limited to 60 people with only a handful of spots for parent chaperones.
